Passenger Killed In Crash At Busy Maryland Intersection Identified By Police

A 31-year-old woman from Hyattsville died after a two-car crash in Prince George’s County early Monday morning, police said.

The fatal collision happened around 5:50 a.m. on March 10 at the intersection of Adelphi Road and Riggs Road in the Adelphi area, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Emergency crews rushed the victim, identified on Tuesday morning as Berta Marroquin Colindres, to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead several hours later. 

The two drivers involved suffered minor injuries.

Investigators say the two vehicles collided in the intersection, but the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
